All learning cards are open from the start. Earn titles as you play. Composers appear in birth order, not a ranking or order of ear-training difficulty.

Progress links are not encrypted. Anyone with a link can read your saved Wren name and progress. You choose where to save or share it; those destinations may retain a copy. Save a fresh link after playing or renaming. Restore keeps the higher point total, not the sum, and preserves today's earning limits.

Daily answers and progress are saved in this browser when storage is available. After completing the challenge, this site sends the UTC day, a completion event, your final score (0–5), and your current streak length to update shared aggregate counts. ToneWren does not store a player identifier or associate an IP address with your game statistics. It does not send individual note guesses. If those requests fail, the game still works. Community statistics show approximate totals; they are not unique-player counts.

Progress backup links are made in your browser and hold your Wren name, points, streak and recent answers. Your Wren name is not included in public result shares. Backup data is in the link’s fragment, the part beginning with #, rather than its request path or query. When a page first opens with a restore fragment, ToneWren removes that fragment from the displayed address and does not load its Cloudflare Web Analytics script for that page. Ordinary page and asset requests still reach Cloudflare.
